ACDS Connect: Strengthening Global Partnerships through Collaboration and Networking

As part of its work program for the September–December period, the Public Relations Division of the Abroad Community of Dental Students (ACDS), in collaboration with other divisions, successfully conducted ACDS Connect: Partnership & Networking Program. This program was designed to strengthen international collaboration, expand academic networks, and provide students with direct exposure to global dental opportunities.

The first session was held on 3rd October 2025 in collaboration with the Exchange Division, featuring Benyapha Attichartpatsorn, Chairperson of the Academic Visit and Exchange Program (AVEP) 2025. During the session, she presented an overview of the AVEP program, including its objectives, activities, and opportunities for international academic exchange, giving participants valuable insights into global mobility programs.

The second session took place on 4th October 2025, in collaboration with the Research and Academic Division, featuring representatives from The 9th International Dental Postgraduate Quest (IDPQ) 2025. The speakers, Zulaikha binti Samsulbahrin, Vice President of the 9th IDPQ, and Muhammad Aizat bin Azhar, introduced the IDPQ program and shared information regarding international academic competitions, research exposure, and professional development opportunities for dental students.

This program not only served as a platform for knowledge exchange and professional insight, but also strengthened ACDS’s role in connecting students with international networks and future academic pathways. Moving forward, ACDS remains dedicated to continuously creating impactful programs that empower students, encourage global engagement, and contribute to the development of globally competent future dental professionals.
